IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering – Advanced Level, Requirements Modeling
Throughout the IREB® CPRE- Advanced Level module Requirements Modeling you will acquire a deeper understanding of the requirements that play a central role in the development process of software-based systems. The aim is to provide you with the means to specify requirements of extensive and complex systems through the use of standardized and widely used modeling languages know in the industry as requirements modeling.
There are many comprehensive tools which support the various modeling languages. Throughout this IREB® CPRE- Advanced Level module you will gain valuable insight in everything from freeware tools to powerful commercial tools that provide a large extent, the forming potential for automation and uninterrupted integration with other used in development process tools (for example, in project and test management).
Sometimes the scale and complexity of systems requirements can be a challenge; therefore, the numerous advantages of graphic models will also be discussed, especially when dealing with readability, complexity, control, automatic analyzability and the processing of extensive and complex issues.
Two further Advanced Level specializations are available: Requirements Modeling and Requirements
- IREB® CPRE Advanced Level (Requirements Modeling, Requirements Management or Requirements Elicitation and Consolidation)
- The IREB® CPRE- Expert Level (in preparation)
Paper-based exam, 75 minutes (20% time extension for non-native speakers available on request), 45 multiple-choice questions, minimum score 60%
Part 2 – Written assignment:
Approx. two day’s homework within a period of three month after receiving the task for this part of the examination. The submission must occur before the end of the 12 month time limit.
